Dr. Weintraub received his undergraduate degree in the Ivy League. He graduated from the Towne School of Chemical Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia in 1972.
He earned his medical degree from Rutgers Medical School in Piscataway, New Jersey in 1976. He spent four additional years studying and graduated form his dermatology program at Cleveland Metropolitan General Hospital affiliated with Case Western Reserve in Cleveland in 1980.
He is a Board Certified Dermatologist. In his dermatology practice in California, he has treated over 40,000 patients since 1980. He has been on staff at UCLA, worked with the American Cancer Society and has been published in various medical journals. He has been chosen by some of the largest pharmaceutical companies for advanced drug research. His goal is to create the most effective skin care available.
Dr. Weintraub created the Eskalay Skin Care line ("Eskalay" was taken from Aescalapius, the Greek god of healing).
James S. Weintraub, M.D. graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1972 and received his medical degree from Rutgers University in 1976. He took his internship in Philadelphia and completed his dermatology residency in 1980 in Cleveland, Ohio. He furthers his continuing education by attending seminars and meetings in his field. He has practiced in Simi and Conejo Valleys since 1980.
